What is SAMS?
SAMS stands for Students Academic Management System. It has two components e-Admission & e-Administration. SAMS presently supports online admission for Higher Secondary, Degree, Post-Graduations, ITI, Diploma, PDIS, Teacher Education, Physical Education and correspondence institutions.
What is e-Admission?
e-Admission is nothing but online admission carried out for various courses (as answered in the ques-1) of Odisha. The detailed process of admission is explained in the Common Prospectus (CP) available separately for each courses.
How can I know the availability of Common Application Form (CAF)?

Where can I see the list of universities that Provided Integrated M.A Ph.D. Programme under SAMS?
Currently, only the Odia University at Satabadi, Puri is offering the said Course for the current Academic Session: 2023-24.
How can I get an application form from my location?
The Common Application Form (CAF) can be accessed on the website

along with the CP which guides you to apply the CAF correctly.

Do I submit the CAF online only?
Yes, you need to apply online through the CAF following the guidelines of the CP. After submitting CAF on-line, take print out copy of the Applicant CAF and keep it with you for further Process at the time of admission.
What is the maximum number of Subjects to fill in a CAF?
An eligible applicant will have to apply ONLINE for a maximum of three (Subjects) and minimum of 1 subject through

What is the Eligibility Criteria to take admission in the said Programme?
The applicants who have passed +3 with Odia Honours are eligible to apply for the integrated Programme.
What are the subjects to be taught at the Odia University and what is the seat strength for each subjects?
The University will offer Integrated M.A. Ph.D. Programme in the below mentioned three nos. of subjects with 24 nos. of seats in each. i) Odia Language & Literature ii) Linguistics & Natural Language Processing iii) Regional, Tribal Language & Heritage Studies
Can I modify any information in the CAF after submission?
No. After submitting the Common Application Form (CAF), applicants cannot modify the submitted data.
How much do I pay while submitting a filled CAF?
General candidates will pay ₹.500/- and SC/ST candidates will pay ₹.300/-. No subject wise fees shall be collected. No fees shall be collected from PwD (Permanent nature), Transgender, Orphan, Child-care Institutions & green Passage Scheme applicants.
CAF filling deadline is already over. Am I allowed to make any changes in my choice list at this point?
You will not be allowed to edit your choice list after the prescribed timeline, i.e., you cannot change the order of your choices OR add any more subjects in OR delete any subject from the choice list after the dateline.
How can I know about my selection? Will be intimated exclusively?
The merit lists shall be published on the scheduled date & time at website www.samsodisha.gov.in for information of public. You will also be intimated about your status exclusively through SMS, Email & WhatsApp about the selection status. You can also download the intimation letter from your students log in.
When Should I pay the admission Fees?
The admission fees shall be paid at the time of admission in offline mode at the university level.
What should I do after getting Intimation?
List of the documents required is given in the Intimation Letter. Arrange all the requisites for admission such as original certificates for verification, photo and admission fees & report to the destination university on the scheduled date & time.
Is there Slide-up option after taking admission in the 1st Phase?
There will be no slide up after taking admission in one subject. Therefore, you are instructed to fill your choice or give your preference of subject carefully.
